Brad James grew up in suburban St. Louis, MO. As a child, he dreamed of being a professional radio announcer and musician. He currently lives out both dreams, although he has found it necessary to supplement them with a "real job".

In 1983, "Bad Brad" James co-founded the oldies rock 'n' roll band, Sh-Boom. As the group's bass vocalist and spokesman, Sh-Boom has compiled nearly 2,000 performances and has performed throughout the United States, Puerto Rico, Mexico, and the Bahama's. Find out more about Sh-Boom at www.sh-boom.com.

Brad attended the Broadcast Center in St. Louis where he earned a Professional Arts degree in Broadcasting. He also holds an Associates Arts (music) and Bachelor of Science (business) degree. As a cellist in high school and college, he performed with the St. Louis Symphony Youth Orchestra. The group performed at Powell Symphony Hall and completed a tour of Great Britain.

Brad worked full-time in the radio industry for several years in the 1980's. He continues to use his vocal gifts as a free-lance voice over talent.
